Ask and ye shall ……get moving!
Some people (not anyone WE know) don’t know they have choices and could make the very best of life.
They just sit there, without doing the things we love here at Inner Active, such as questioning, wondering, or constructive dreaming.
Guess what happens? Yes, exactly. Nothing. No question, no dream, no imagining. So nothing happens. Zip.
A question begins a quest. it gets the journey started. A great question begins a great quest. Our clients here at inner active are deep thinkers who want to know and understand the best way to be, and to have their best life.
Some happen to be challenged by chronic illness such as auto immune issues or chronic fatigue syndrome and I get to meet them as part of their healing team,
As soon as they ask themselves a moving forward question, such as:
How can I be sure to have the best quality of life now?
What resources do I already have in abundance for my wellbeing?
What is the best attitude for me to have toward this condition, my doctors, myself?
What is the first step to begin to create my dreams now?
Woweee, these are momentum questions and movement begins as a result of thinking them and asking them!
Your intuition and your thinking LOVES a questing question. ”Well, thank you for asking!” Says your innate wisdom “Allow me to direct your attention to a whole load of useful insights, awareness and practical solutions.” You find your attention drawn to what you really want and what you need to know. and when you are moving serendipity loves to come along to help you enjoy the journey even more.
Your quests may be for health, wisdom, happiness, security, and love. What questions move you forward on your journey?
PS. In the next post I will share with you the one question to AVOID, the one that could cause you to get stuck in a cul de sac and NOT move forward at all. Watch this space.
Only Your Imagination or… The Language of the Soul?
How often have you had a glimmer of truth, flash of wisdom, or a vision of a great possibility and said to yourself, it is only a dream, or only my imagination?
You may be actively seeking insight, inspiration, guidance and healing while discounting the way it gets delivered to you.
When there is free and unstructured time to dream, create and allow the imagination to flourish, the skill of using ones imagination on purpose become stronger. There is a distinction between constructive imagination and fantasy, fantasy is more of an escape mechanism than a creative tool. Albert Einstein said “Imagination is more important than knowledge.”
How have you cultivated the skill of using your imagination? Perhaps you allow yourself time in nature to just be, or to positively daydream?
In my “Listening UP -How to Access Your Divine Wisdom’ intuition classes, I am often asked, “How do I know if it is my intuition or only my imagination?” People often think they have to get their imagination out of the way in order to develop more reliable intuition.
Here’s the thing, you NEED your imagination in order to listen to your intuition!
And don’t say you have no imagination- because any of us who have practiced another ‘skill’ called worrying, fretting and ‘worst case scenario’ thinking have also been using our imagination, just not in a useful way!
Divine imagination is a language of the soul, your imagination can help to convey a possibility, a vision, an insight to you using symbol and metaphor in ways that the left brain, conscious mind could not possibly receive.
Where to start using imagination purposefully?
Give yourself quality time to take your imagination out for frequent walks, watering and exercise. Start with questions like What if? How shall I? What are all the choices before me? And allow yourself to imagine the greatest, most ideal outcomes you would like to create.
