After gaining degrees in Psychology , Drama and Film, My professional career began producing audio visual training programs for an international corporation in South Africa. The television  industry was brand new and I got to script, film (carrying a huge heavy camera with enormous tapes!) and edit human resource and training programs.  I helped to coach top banking executives on how to be more at ease when interviewed on television.

I loved helping quaking anxious executives to relax and be at ease and bring their true selves forward on the screen. I found i love to teach and coach

While working a full time job, i was taking courses  in healing, meditation, reflexology, massage, and cognitive science which was like finding the missing modules from my psychology degree. I opened a healing practice at home. When i was not working at my corporate job, i was massaging muscles, holding hands, listening intently to clients and helping them to make significant changes in their lives.

At this time i had found a spiritual home where i was serving in the healing sanctuary and developing my natural skills as a medium. Corporate trainer by day and spiritual healer after hours. My life became more meaningful and enjoyable when I began to do work that had meaning and purpose.

People from many walks of life  heard about my intuitive work, i enjoyed this way of serving and helping, although my family was giving me some funny looks- they wondered if i was going to start wearing turbans and using a crystal ball. ( No!)

Then my intuition started whispering that i should take a leap of faith and come to the United States- i followed my heart to a whole new life. (with one suitcase and a few hundred dollars) I learned how to listen deeply to my intuition and to the guidance  of my soul, even when my logical mind was squawking  “but what will you do? how will you live? what if you fail?”

Taking a leap taught me how to balance the pull of the heart, with the practical common sense to make changes elegantly and safely.  I learned what was needed to be soul guided and to take practical steps to make positive changes.

to be true to myself in new territories,

to nourish my reverence and love for spiritual growth

to shape my experience by managing my thinking and my state

My  training in psychology and cognitive science and my experiences have resulted in a powerful combination of left-brain strategic planning, problem solving and solution oriented thinking balanced with reverence, compassion, imagination and humor.
